Dispatches from W.O.R.T.H.

Dispatches from W.O.R.T.H. will take you behind the scenes of a new unit aimed at reimagining incarceration for young women aged 18-25. Located at at Connecticut's York Correctional Institution, W.O.R.T.H. is an acronym for Women Overcoming Recidivism Through Hard Work. Over the next few months you’ll hear from staff, mentors (people serving life sentences in DOC) living and working with the young women on the unit, the Vera team supporting the project, and young women (mentees) living in the W.O.R.T.H. community. We look forward to your comments and responses.
