Sophia Harty-Reiter
Sophia Harty-Reiter is assistant to the chief people officer in Vera's People Resources department. In her role, Sophia participates in a variety of projects, programs, and initiatives that are both departmental and Institute-wide. She plans, organizes, and implements assigned projects while providing administrative support to deliver a memorable, positive, and seamless employee experience at Vera.
Before joining Vera in 2022, Sophia worked in human resources in the pre-opening office of a luxury hotel in Vienna, Austria, where she contributed to implementing recruitment and onboarding strategies rooted in equity and diversity. She grew up in Lisbon, Portugal and speaks seven languages.
Sophia holds a BA in theatre, film, and media and an MA in gender studies from Universität Wien in Vienna, Austria.
