Vera Institute of Justice

Chantal Polinsky works as a program coordinator with Vera’s Greater Justice New York (GJNY) team to help end mass incarceration in New York State. Chantal assists with project management and team organization, and she provides general support for GJNY projects.

Before joining Vera in 2022, Chantal interned with Freedom Agenda, a New York City–based community organization, where she worked with activists and community organizers to advocate for closing Rikers Island jail and ending solitary confinement.

Chantal holds a BA in psychology and a certificate in human rights from Hunter College, City University of New York.
