Beginning with a convening in Montgomery, Alabama on June 5th, Vera and IIP will collaborate with 25 leading voices in justice reform to radically reimagine the role of the prosecutor. Over the course of six months, Vera and the IIP will convene regular working group meetings of these experts to focus on developing actionable multi-media materials that prosecutors can integrate into their training curricula, and that communities can use to educate themselves about what they deserve from their local prosecutor.
