Vera Institute of Justice

Zachary Lawrence is a data scientist who works across multiple Vera initiatives. His work focuses on analyzing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention and U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review court proceedings data. Additionally, he works to improve the data acquisition, processing, and analysis infrastructure across Vera.

Before joining Vera in 2019, Zachary was a software engineer, where he worked to produce insights based on a distributed data processing pipeline.

Zachary holds a BS in computer engineering from the University of Maryland.
