Stephen joined Vera in August 2012. Prior to coming to Vera, Stephen was the project manager for the development of a public database of New York City’s subsidized affordable housing at NYU Law School’s Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy, merging housing data from five government agencies at the city, state, and federal levels. Steve has a background in data analysis and software development. He led the development of software tools for analyzing non-profit fundraising data for Target Analysis Group in Cambridge, MA, and developed the operational software for Case Shiller Weiss, Inc., the creators of the Case-Shiller Home Price Indexes. Steve has a master’s degree in public administration from NYU-Wagner, a master’s degree in quantitative methods for social sciences from Columbia University, and a BA in economics from Bates College.
