Sara Fulton

Sara Fulton joined The Guardianship Project in March 2014. Prior to joining, she served as the director of housing and placement at the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House’s Women’s Mental Health Shelter, where she oversaw the placement of homeless women suffering from mental illness into permanent homes. Sara previously worked at the Mental Health Law Project at MFY Legal Services (now Mobilization for Justice) for over a decade, first as staff attorney and later as supervising attorney, assisting mentally ill clients with a broad array of civil legal matters, including housing, government benefits, and consumer issues. Sara is a graduate of New York University School of Law and Grinnell College.
