As a senior program associate for the Immigration Court Helpdesk (ICH) and Family Group Legal Orientation Program (FGLOP), Saba provided support and technical assistance to nonprofit legal service providers that educate immigrants about their removal proceedings so that they can make informed decisions about their legal case.

Saba started as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Legal Aid Chicago representing survivors of domestic violence in their immigration cases. At the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago, Saba represented individuals in removal proceedings, family and humanitarian-based applications, and conducted trainings and provided technical support to pro bono attorneys. Saba also directed the Counter-Trafficking Project, provided direct representation to survivors of human trafficking, and conducted outreach and trainings to improve identification of trafficking survivors. Previously, Saba worked at Legal Aid of North Carolina and Catholic Multicultural Center in Wisconsin. Saba also has experience as a contract negotiator dealing with issues of intellectual property and business law.

Saba holds a BA from Amherst College and a JD from the University of Iowa College of Law.
