Rosalia Rodriguez

With a background in Chicana/o Studies and Latin American & Iberian Studies from UC Santa Barbara, Rosalía has a passion for working with underserved populations and a love for the performing arts. Prior to joining Vera, Rosalía was an office manager at New Village Girls Academy, the only all girls charter high school in the Rampart area of Los Angeles. There, she also worked for Youth Policy Institute as a Parent Coordinator for the after school program, offering ESL and US citizenship classes. She started the first folklórico dance group at the Boys & Girls Club of Pomona Valley, while teaching survival English to day laborers at the Pomona Economic Opportunity Center, and is a current member of Grandeza Mexicana Folk Ballet Company, a non-profit performing arts organization that seeks to advance the field of Mexican folk ballet by presenting high-quality dance productions throughout LA county.
