Roger Blissett

Roger Blissett joined Mitsubishi UFG Financial Group (MUFG) in 2018 as the Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs in the Americas. He previously worked at RBC Capital Markets for two decades as a managing director and senior deputy general counsel, and as the general manager for RBC’s New York Branch. Prior to joining RBC, he worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Lehman Brothers. He is currently managing director and deputy general counsel for MUFG Americas Legal Department. Mr. Blissett has also served as chair of the Institute of International Bankers and continues to hold leadership roles at this trade association. He is a board member of ExpandED Schools and member of the leadership team and head of the education working group of the Pipeline Crisis: Promoting Winning Strategies initiative, an association of senior partners and managers in leading law firms and financial institutions who address challenges faced by young Black men.

Blissett joined Vera's Board of Trustees in 2011.
