Rob Stewart
Robert Stewart is the executive director of the Minnesota Justice Research Center (JRC), a nonprofit established to improve Minnesota's justice system through high-quality research, policy development, and education. Stewart is also a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Minnesota studying punishment, law, and collateral consequences. His expertise is in the enduring effects of criminal justice involvement and the construction of stigma associated with a criminal record. His work and advocacy is informed in part by his personal experience as criminal justice-involved person.
