Rashaad Porter

Rashaad Porter works as a research associate with Vera’s Restoring Promise initiative to help create prison housing units that are rooted in human dignity and restorative justice. He also co-leads a study for people released from Restoring Promise units. Rashaad also works on ways to expand the use of participatory action research methods at Vera.

Rashaad is a veteran and served in the U.S. Navy before joining Vera in 2017.
