Vera Institute of Justice

Manjeet Kaur is a research analyst with Vera’s Greater Justice New York team, where she works on a variety of qualitative research projects, namely the New York State Bail Reform Evaluation Study.

Before joining Vera, Manjeet spent time as a community organizer in her hometown of Portland, Oregon, championing progressive policy across the state. During her time in this role, she helped pass environmental justice legislation and supported Oregon’s first participatory budgeting initiative.

Manjeet holds a BA in law, societies, and justice from the University of Washington, Seattle.
