Jung-Hee Oh
As the associate director of data science and analytics, Jung-Hee Oh is responsible for leading the organization’s data science strategy and implementation. She has built analytics infrastructure and process for reporting to federal stakeholders with Vera’s Unaccompanied Children Program and continues to work closely with data scientists, engineers, and analysts throughout the organization.
Before she joined Vera in 2020, Jung-Hee’s career spanned the data science and nonprofit fields. As part of the data science team at the ACLU’s national office, she built production-level machine learning models to understand supporter engagement. She also consulted for several Fortune 500 companies to help modernize their operations with data science. She has also supported the legal department and managing attorney of the Innocence Project.
Jung-Hee holds bachelor’s degrees in music from Wesleyan University and in statistics from Hunter College, City University of New York and an MS in analytics from Northwestern University’s McCormick School of Engineering.
