Jennifer Gill

Jennifer joined Vera in March 2011 as a senior program associate for the Unaccompanied Children Program, and in 2015, she became a regional manager for the program.

Before joining Vera, she worked as a staff attorney with the Legal Aid Society in Queens, New York, assisting immigrants and other clients through the public benefits and foreclosure prevention units. Prior to law school, Jennifer worked as a social worker, assisting immigrant families on New York’s Lower East Side. She also worked as the director of collaborative programs at the International Center in New York, where she developed a new initiative to extend volunteer-driven language and acculturation programs to immigrant communities via 17 partner community-based organizations.

Jennifer holds a BA in sociology from the University of Chicago, an MSW from Hunter College of Social Work, and a JD from the City University of New York School of Law.
