Vera Institute of Justice

Janell Glee is an operations associate with the People, Place, and Culture department and the Reshaping Prosecution initiative. In her role, Janell ensures the smooth day-to-day operations and management of Vera's Washington, DC, office, in addition to helping advance the mission of Reshaping Prosecution by providing operational, administrative, and staff support.

Before joining Vera in 2023, Janell held roles at the Baltimore Montessori Public Charter School and The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation, where she managed operations, including training and supervising teams and maintaining safe, productive, and pleasant environments for employees and customers. She has years of experience in facilities management, direct service, customer service, and retail.

Janell holds a BS in family, youth and community science from the University of Florida and an MS in human services administration from Saint Leo University.
