Vera Institute of Justice

Greg Klemm is Vera’s chief financial and operating officer. He is responsible for overseeing and leading the Institute’s operations functions, which include finance, people resources, technology, and workplace services. Greg provides financial leadership for the Institute and ensures that Vera’s operations and systems are set up to support Vera delivering on its mission.

Greg has been Vera’s CFO/COO since 2020. Before that, he held a variety of positions since coming to Vera in 2005, most recently as the director of finance. Before joining the Vera team, he was with KPMG in audit and risk advisory services.

In addition to his work at Vera, Greg is a board member of a variety of Vera spin-offs, including Activating Change, where he serves as its treasurer.

Greg holds a BBA in accounting and an MBA from Cleveland State University.
