Evelyne Chemouny

Evelyne Chemouny, LCSW, joined The Guardianship Project (TGP) in January 2017. She has over 15 years of experience in social work roles serving the elderly and aging. Prior to TGP, Evelyne worked for many years at Greenwich House, Inc. (formerly The Caring Community), and in her last position there, oversaw case management, training, and policy development for programs serving seniors. She is a Gestalt psychotherapist and has been an adjunct lecturer at the NYU Silver School of Social Work.  Evelyne received her Master’s in Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work and her Bachelor of Arts from Hunter College, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Evelyne is affiliated with the National Association of Social Workers, NY Chapter, Committee on Aging, and served as treasurer of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy. Evelyne is fluent in French and conversational Spanish.
