Erin Lynam

Erin Lynam works as a program associate with Vera’s Unlocking Potential initiative, drawing on her experience working directly with incarcerated people, helping to ensure equitable access to high-quality education in prison.

Before joining Vera in 2022, Erin worked for a community college in Washington State, providing student support services to incarcerated students as well as developing student-centered programming and curriculum. While in this role, Erin developed an onboarding process for others providing services to incarcerated students, which is still used today. Erin previously worked for a prison-based dog program and for a prison-based sustainability and environmental education nonprofit.

Erin holds a BA in psychology and social justice and an MPA with a focus in corrections education policy from The Evergreen State College.
