Vera Institute of Justice

Emma Langsner is the institutional giving associate in Vera's development department. In her role, Emma works in collaboration with the development team, Vera leadership, and program staff to secure funding to advance the Institute’s initiatives and mission.

Before joining Vera in 2024, Emma worked at The Philanthropic Collaborative for Education, where she provided day-to-day administrative and project support to two funder collaboratives: Grantmakers for Thriving Youth and the Data Funders Collaborative. Emma also previously served as a search coordinator at Isaacson, Miller, a premier executive search firm specializing in recruiting exceptional leaders to mission-driven organizations.

Emma holds a BS in social work from the University of New Hampshire and an MSW from the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service.
