Edward De Jesus

Edward De Jesus joined The Guardianship Project (TGP) in July 2015 and became the deputy director of finance in January 2017. Prior to TGP, Edward interned with Council Member Fernando Cabrera of the Bronx for one year, where he was often called upon to work directly with constituents on housing and quality of life issues. He has also served as a member of Bronx Community Board 7, and was its secretary of the Education, Library and Youth Services Committee, as well as director of the Board’s Website, Acknowledgment and Media Committee.

Edward has been involved for over three years as lead researcher for the CUNY Dominican Studies Institute at City College, where he researches the participation of Dominican-Americans in the U.S. Armed Forces during World War II. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 2009, and a Master of Science in Finance in 2011 from CUNY Lehman College.
