Celine Villongco Miles
Celine Villongco Miles works as a senior program associate with Vera's Ending Girls’ Incarceration (EGI) initiative, which aims to zero out the incarceration of girls and gender-expansive youth. In her role, Celine supports the development of the initiative’s national curriculum and provides technical assistance to sites across the EGI Action Network.
Before joining Vera in 2023, Celine worked for the Council of State Governments Justice Center, providing technical assistance to states and jurisdictions seeking to improve criminal legal systems and implement victim-centered strategies and best practices. She also worked for the Iowa Department of Justice as statewide human trafficking coordinator, where she collaborated with statewide agencies and stakeholders to raise awareness and develop trauma-informed policies for trafficking survivors and victims of crime.
Celine holds a BS from Cornell University and an MPP from the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University.
