Ariel Goldberg

Ariel joined Vera as managing editor in December 2020. In her role, she is responsible for shepherding publications, content, and multimedia materials through the editing process. Before joining Vera, she spent eight years leading digital work for Lambda Legal, the nation’s oldest and largest LGBTQ and HIV legal advocacy organization. In 2019, her team was honored as a Shorty Awards finalist for its campaign around the 2018 Supreme Court vacancy. Prior to Lambda, she served on the content strategy team at Federated Media Publishing. Outside of Vera, Ariel is program & creative director for the WITS Travel Creator & Brand Summit, for which she produces events across North America and Europe. Her words have appeared in Thought Catalog, Teen Vogue, Refinery 29, Upworthy, and Yahoo. She holds a bachelor’s degree in writing, literature & publishing from Emerson College and a graduate certificate in publishing from New York University.
