Amanda R. Vazquez

Amanda Vazquez is the executive assistant to the vice president in Vera’s development department. In her role, Amanda manages the administrative affairs of the vice president and the greater department, supporting the fundraising work that allows the Institute to advance its mission.

Before joining Vera in 2023, Amanda worked as the programs and operations coordinator at College & Community Fellowship (CCF), which serves system-impacted women throughout their higher education journeys. At CCF, she supported organization-wide programming and conducted wide-ranging research, including on system-impacted people’s experiences with financial insecurity, trauma, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Amanda holds an AA in criminal justice from Kingsborough Community College and a BA in forensic psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
