Adriana Suarez

Adriana joined the Center on Immigration and Justice at Vera in March 2020. She is a program analyst for the Legal Orientation Program for Custodians of Unaccompanied Children, Legal Orientation Program, and Immigration Court Helpdesk. Prior to joining Vera, Adriana worked at the New York County District Attorney’s Office, where she served as a program coordinator for the Immigrant Affairs Unit. In her role, she assisted assistant district attorneys in investigating and prosecuting cases involving scams and frauds targeting New York’s immigrant community.

Adriana is currently pursuing an MA in international migration studies at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. She received a BA in psychology and Spanish from the University of Virginia. While she completed her undergraduate degree, Adriana worked as a research assistant in various labs and cofounded the LADYS Program – Cville, a mentoring program providing support to young women of color in local high schools.
