Vincent LauExperts
Vera’s experts conduct research and analysis and develop policies and programs in a variety of criminal and social justice fields. Their varied knowledge, background, and experience enable Vera to address the full spectrum of national and local justice issues.

Research Analyst, Center on Youth Justice
Vincent joined Vera in August 2011. He received his MSW from Howard University’s School of Social Work. During his social work school tenure, Vincent completed field placement on Capitol Hill and in a K-8 public school. At the office of Congressman Edolphus Towns (NY-10) he conducted congressional briefings on social work reinvestment and assisted with the founding of the Congressional Social Work Caucus. At Whittier Education Campus, Vincent counseled fifth-grade students with a wide array of behavioral issues. Prior to graduate school, Vincent served at the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families as an Americorps VISTA member, where he supported the goal of improving the health and well-being of Asian Pacific American children and families in New York City. Vincent earned his BA in sociology at Hunter College.
