Manager of Client Services, Common Justice
Shameeka, a Brooklyn native, has worked with incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people and their families in Philadelphia since 2003. Her experience includes work in home and community-based intervention and reentry programs as well as work as a social worker in the prison itself. Shameeka received her Bachelor of Arts in English and sociology from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton in 2003 and her Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Work as an Endowed Scholar with a macro concentration in 2005.
