Prior to joining Vera, Caitlin led program design and recruitment for the U.S. Peace Corps in New York, after having served as a volunteer in Namibia for three years. During her time in Namibia, she spearheaded a number of gender and development projects, collaborating with the Ministry of Education, USAID, and EngenderHealth to design HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns targeting men, boys, and orphans and vulnerable children. Caitlin received her BA in English from the University of Colorado and her MPA in international policy and nonprofit management from NYU. While at NYU, she participated in a year-long implementation study with the Asia Foundation, researching and critically assessing the sub-national decentralization process in Cambodia.
