Vera’s experts conduct research and analysis and develop policies and programs in a variety of criminal and social justice fields. Their varied knowledge, background, and experience enable Vera to address the full spectrum of national and local justice issues.

Acting Director, Adolescent Portable Therapy
Krista Larson became acting director of Adolescent Portable Therapy (APT) in July 2011. Prior to that time, she served as APT's associate director. She joined APT as a therapist in June 2001. Previously, she worked at St. Joseph Services for Children and Families in Brooklyn, New York, where she supervised and provided direct case planning services for families in contact with the foster care system. Krista has also counseled adolescents and their families referred by juvenile court judges and probation staff. Krista has a BA in psychology from the University of Richmond and an MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University.
