Vera staff presented at a New Orleans City Council subcommittee meeting on criminal justice, along with other stakeholders in the city's criminal justice system. The meeting was the first of its kind for Ronal Serpas, the city's new police superintendent, and Councilwoman Susan Guidry, the committee's co-chair.
