In response to an April 18 story about police blocking visas for crime victims, Metro Nashville Police Chief Ronal Serpas wrote an opinion piece to clarify the department's use of witness visas and mentions that his department will be working with the Vera Institute and other police departments from around the country to develop a protocol for using witness visas.
