The Post-Crescent reported on a training that Vera's Center on Immigration and Justice, along with Legal Momentum, hosted for local police on how to work with immigrant communities and, specifically, how to use the U-visa, which provides legal immigration status for victims of crime who cooperate with law enforcement.
