This web site was developed by the Vera Institute of Justice in collaboration with imageMachine, a private web and multimedia design firm in New York City.
The site, which launched on August 17, 2001, is the result of a year-long process to develop the information architecture, designs, database, and content publishing tool that work together to produce the site you now see. Kadambari Baxi and D. Beau Morley, principals and designers at imageMachine; Jennifer Trone, senior writer and editor in Vera's communications department; and John McCrory, Vera's webmaster, led the development process.
